The same survey on different platforms

I came across the same survey on two very different platforms, it was a bit unique so I remembered it. I just closed the window when I realized it was the same. But some surveys are a bit similar, but as you go into them they turn out to be different (maybe both from the same company? Or competing ones?) What do you generally do if you’re not sure it’s the same?

If I finish the same survey from two different platforms because I forgot I took it another place will that somehow give consequences to you? If you used the same info.. of course I’d want to avoid it for my own sake, but also for the sake of the company.
