“Appen is working with a leading technology company on improving capability of sign language recognition. This will help to improve accessibility of video technology for all types of signers including the Deaf Community, Hard of Hearing and Sign Language users.
If you know how to communicate in sign language(s), you can help with this project by joining us on virtual conference sessions with a few other signers for 5 mins. Each session will be recorded for machine training and development purposes.”

Payout is via Payoneer which usually has great exchange rates from USD to whatever currency. The minimum payout is $50. The average income depends on the specific project however I have been earning around $200 per fortnight using Appen, albeit on other projects. I cannot speak for this one as I do not know sign language. Appen has been known for a while to be a great platform for online work throughout this subreddit.
