Dscout: Facebook Usage task

for anyone that got accepted into this, did you guys get the emails today about them postponing needing to work on part 3? and supposedly there is issues. at first they said start it (doing the 5 entries) then another email from another researcher on the thing saying NOT to start it, and that they'll be in touch tomorrow morning to go over resuming part 3.

i followed their advice. and apparently they now claim, "We're adjusting the timeline so you don't have to worry about that!" this was in response to a question i had, and that we still should hold off on working part 3.

here's the problem: they haven't shut down part 3. so to me, two different people chiming in about this today..feels like a trap. the total for doing all 7 days of this, is $120.

i know some in here mentioned working the instagram usage study as well. did anyone get similar conflicting feedback?

tldr; it seems the claim of adjusting the timeline hasn't worked. and it's making me think there about to screw people out of the $120..
