Swagbucks credibility

I'm new to swagbucks but have used similar programs and know that swagbucks is well trusted among many. Theres an offer up right now where you must invest 5 dollars in something called "stash", and the reward is 3,000 swagbucks. Thats $30, which is a crazy good deal. Has anyone done this or something similar on swagbucks? This offer seems to good to be true. How would they know I actually invested? Is it wise to do this? I could really use the money
