Signed Up For E-Rewards And Have Been Getting More Spam E-Mails Ever Since

I got an invite for E-Rewards via email with the added bonus of receiving a $1 on my account to get me started. I signed up and everything and now suddenly I'm getting weird spam emails with dubious enclosed files. Has anybody else that's signed up for E-Rewards experienced this?
