Issue with prolific assistant

Lately, my prolific assistant extension keeps signing me out randomly. I only notice it when it has the little red notification near it in the top and it's annoying because sometimes it'll be 10-20 mins before I notice it, hence not notifying me of a new study. I'm using google chrome on a macbook if that's an issue. Any help would be great. Thanks!
