Can't accept the money that I got from Prolific

Hello, I got 14.90 gpb from Prolific that I sent to my moms paypal (I'm too young to own a paypal). I'm from America. I had $7.85 before and now the apparent total is $25.55. But when I want to send the money to a debit card, the money shows as only $7.85. Is there a fix for this? I really want to accept all the money I got but I can't.
