Question about the expiry of in-app purchases within google play...

I know this is an obvious question, but I just want to make sure.

If you used your google play balance (via gift card) to make an in-app purchase, eg. a legendary dragon. Will that purchase ever expire?

I know that google play balance in some countries (like mine, Australia) can expire after a prolonged period of time of not using google play.

But if you made an in-app purchase in a game, can it disappear/expire if you are inactive in that google play account for a long time?
