Profile doc won’t let me verify my phone number

I tried signing up only to realize I already had an account except with random info, so I chose to delete it and make an actual account. However, whenever I try to verify the phone number it keeps saying “that phone number is already associated with another account” even though that account has been deleted.

Am I screwed, or do they have some sort of support system I can email?
