Opinions on Spare5 / how to sign up?

Out of work Uber Driver who got an email from Uber yesterday suggesting different alternative income opportunities, including spare5, saying you can earn $12+/hour. I went to the website, and there's a log-in option but not a sign-up option. So....

And, if anyone has used it since it was acquired by Uber, how is it? Worth the time if all I'm doing otherwise right now is just sitting at home?
