Over the past several months, we have been working to resolve issues with reward redemption. Our initial approach was basically a “free for all”, where you could earn unlimited flow based on engagement and redeem it at will. Unfortunately, a significant portion of our community abused this policy by giving random feedback, providing bad data, earning flow and costing us a lot of money without producing quality data for our clients. Being a new start up who’s business is focused on supplying our clients with quality insights, we could not allow this to continue. We needed to rethink our policies, and implement new features to dissuade users from such abusive practices and reward those users who provided quality, thoughtful, honest feedback. You may ask, how do we determine what is quality feedback and what’s not? That is our secret sauce. We are a data science company that has developed proprietary models that can determine and distinguish quality, honest feedback from random feedback. That’s also what took us so long. A lot of time and resources went into developing these new features, all designed to protect and reward our good users.

Here’s what we came up with:

1). Quality users will be selected to join client campaigns where flow totals have higher multiples. Only users who verify their address and complete the surveys for these campaigns, will be able to unlock the store and redeem their flow.

2). Users may earn flow for engaging with content on the platform, but only redeem if selected to participate in the client campaigns and complete the client surveys. Users who are selected into client campaigns and complete the surveys will be able to redeem all accumulated flow.

3). Users who provide quality feedback will be invited into client campaigns. In these campaigns your feedback has direct impact on our clients business decisions. These clients include major studios, subscription services/platforms and professional content creators. Their decisions are focused on delivering you, your family and friends better content and product offerings. They pay us for this information, which allows us to pay you. This is why providing quality, honest feedback is so important. If you abuse this policy by providing random feedback just to rack up flow and get gift cards, the whole system breaks. This is what happened in the past and caused us to temporarily suspend reward redemption until we had time to implement these new features. Our success is linked to our communities integrity. Give quality feedback and we all win. You will earn higher flow multiples and be selected to participate in future campaigns based on providing quality feedback. It is imperative that you are thoughtful and honest with your opinions and feedback. This will ensure continued platform access and the ability to earn more flow.

We are launching these new policies with 2 client campaigns beginning today and continuing over the next couple weeks. We have added a bunch of new content for you to enjoy and earn flow. Users will be invited to participate based on the quality of their feedback. They will unlock the store and be able to redeem their flow by verifying their address and completing the campaign surveys. All accumulated flow can be redeemed. Users who provide quality feedback will be invited back into future campaigns.

We appreciate your patience and continued support. We know it took a while for us to get this resolved. We are confident that these new practices will ensure the right people are rewarded and continue to enjoy a better overall experience on the platform.
