Amazon Question

Hi there,

I am new to amazon so bare with me,

I want to order something and I've paid for it with my giftcardbalance.

But it still asks for my credit/debit card info......

I'd like to not share those with Amazon.

So my question is: could I use a prepaid giftcard say from Visa and add that as a paymentmethod.

Would that work?
