Selling a Trademark?

During a drunken, depressive, and self hating session followed by excessive drinking I invented a word. I decided to trademark it, the word itself has multiple uses (but, as defined it has negative connotations). With elections coming up this word would work well in politics and could have extensive usage on merchandise and such. That being said, I want to dump it while I can realize profit (Hoping for FIRE or life offset). I’ve seen many trademarks on eBay, but rarely do they sell and I don’t believe it’s a good place to sell trademarks. Now IF and this is a big IF it were to go viral/global as things can, then I could easily sell it since the buyer would most likely want to suppress the usage of it. But how would you make something viral? How can I sell it? Thank you in advance.
