Quickthoughts redeem rejected

I went to redeem a gift card and it said something about unable to redeem at this time sorry. It subtracted my $10 and shows in the history rejected. Is this a ban or has anybody experienced this? It seems the app is still working normally like allowing me to take surveys and sign in.
