[QUESTION] European Bank Accounts

I don't know if someone here have this informations, but don't hurt to try
i have got to many theorys but i would like to see if someone is more expert here
I would like to know, accordingly to some European LAW special the most recently ("data protection" something like that)
When you close your bank account all records/transactions will be permanently deleted?
No one can see it after, not even governent/fiscal, cops, everything?
Example you close now, i believe there are sometime...
