New to Online Surveys (Question)

Hello everyone. I've sorta tried online surveys before but I always stop when it seems I'm hitting a wall of offers that just makes me pay for or sign up for a service before I can do anything and then it just cycles through the same questions with no actual results. How do you avoid sites like these? Or are they all like this? Just looking for a little advice before I try again. Thanks in advance!
