Offerwalls- do you guys have much luck with these?

I have previously tried to stay away from these sorts of things but thought I would give one a go last week, and reminded why i want to steer clear.

Signed up for a 14 day usenet trial which was supposed to pay equivilant $2.4ish in points. No points 48 hours later, support page saying i am not filling in compulsory fields (everything was filled perfectly). Go to usenet and BOY do they make it hard to cancel (lucky I could just go and stop the paypal subsription so they wont charge me if they decide to ignore the rediculous formatted email they want you to use to cancel).

It just seems to me these are designed to sucker you in to trials you have difficulty cancelling and make it hard to follow up points claims. Surely its gotta be easier than this. What do you guys use? FYI this was prizerebel's offerwall
