Making a blog website that doubles as an ad-revenue giveaway

Hey all, I was apart of this community a few years ago as a college student and messed around with nearly all the stuff on the list back in the day, made a few bucks, etc.

Anyway, I was wondering about the feasibility of creating a “blog” website where the CPM/CPC revenue would be shared on a daily basis to those who clicked on the daily blog post and scrolled down to a sort of “click here to enter the daily sweepstakes” sorta thing.

Basically, every day I would make a short post, show the activity & revenue charts from the day before and announce the winner in the same post, then at the bottom you could click to enter again.

Obviously payout options would be discussed with the winner and I could personally pay the revenue out to the winner every day since the payout probably wouldn’t be too big. I have a decent job now, luckily, so this is more of a fun side project to give back to the community honestly. If it were to become a bigger thing, I would come back to you guys to discuss since you’re the experts.

I’ve run a few websites in the past, nothing fancy, but I’ve never dealt with ads before since they were all small time service-based businesses. So any advice on that would be nice.

Any feedback would be great. Just looking to toss some beer money to a great community while also running a neat little blog site.
