King of Avalon offer. Has anyone been able to get to level 17?

This is one of those video game offers where you have to install it and then play until you reach a certain level. Since the payout is 17 bucks I'm tempted to try it but I have a feeling it's going to be very difficult to do without spending some of my own money. Have any of you done this offer and completed it?
