Why is it so difficult to make even 100$ online?

Okay. I'm not asking for a lot. I just wanna make around 250 dollars in the next two months. I have been trying to make money online but the only thing that has really worked for me is prolific and even there I only have made 32 pounds in the past four months. I am from Europe and I have tried a bunch of different sites but most of them don't work for me after a month of trial on each one. If I was able to make 5 bucks on a site a month I would keep doing it but most of them I made only a couple of cents or nothing at all. Maybe it's my location. I tried Amazon m-turk but they rejected me. I have heard people making 100 pounds on prolific each month but the most I have made are 12 pounds and I have the chrome extention and I'm almost always 10-12 hours staring at a computer screen. Maybe I'm missing out something. I'm from Greece by the way and if anyone has any sort of advice of how I could make an income of around 100 bucks a month It would really mean a lot to me.
