Tax implications on doing surveys or getting free products?

I've gotten over $2,000 worth of products for free through a product testing website. I've also made a small amount through mturk.

Do you guys report this as additional income on your taxes?

Is it possible it could be construed as a "gift" to avoid paying income taxes?
