Do you have to report mturk to ssi/section 8?

I am 21 years old and live with my parents.

They are currently on ssi and section 8 public housing.

I want to do mturk so i can make some extra money while i deal with my own mental issues in order to get a real job.

Would i have to report this? We have yearly meetings we all go to and they ask if I make any money.

I don't want to risk my parents losing their income but it also seems like if i make money on this they will cut it from my parents income.

Does it matter that i would be spending the money i make on my self and my own stuff?
