$20 removed from my Google opinion rewards :(

I'm worried that the points expired, but I thought as long as you continue doing surveys that the money wouldn't expire. It is also weird that $20 expired all at once... I never got a notification or warning for this, so I'm pretty upset. Does anyone else have this issue?
