Movie posters for beer money?

Hello everyone, I work at an independent movie theater and we are constantly getting movie posters. We actually never throw them out, so we have a couple rooms filled with movie posters from both Hollywood and indie movies. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck making a few extra dollars by selling movie posters. Is it worth the effort of selling them through eBay? Or would it be better if we just held a little sale at the theater one day and allowed people to purchase them in person? Any advice is welcome, thank you.
