HyperDrive Bonus Trunk Findings

I recently ran an average on my last 80 Bonus Trunk opens in the HyperDrive app. I found that a trunk on average gives 9.2 coins per opening. Therefore, over a long period of time, it is beneficial for you to pay the 5 coins for your second open, but not beneficial to pay 10 coins for your third open (unless you are trying to rank up your member status, but I haven't noticed any real benefits of having status as a Platinum member).
