GG2U Payout Timings

I understand the site itself professes to send out an email within 24 hours for payout request but has anybody here have any experience of their own? More specifically, does anybody experience with the Steam Gift Card payouts that's willing to share their own experience? Seems rather strange the site itself tells you to befriend a profile which has been offline for over a month now but, does that even matter so long as I have put in my steam profile? Is this secure? I hope it is since I had to move here after SwagBucks nerfed their videos so much and their Hideout payouts being below bog standard.

I know some of you may say "Why not the Amazon or normal payout?" to which I'd say I have no paypal and generally, for some of the mmos connected via steam it's vastly preferable for me to have my funds in there quickly and easily.
