Does this happen with anyone else on Prolific

I have the Prolific assistant installed on Chrome. Sometimes when it gives me the notification that there's a study, it says there's only 1 place remaining. Of course when I click the notification and try to get in it's already too late. I have the speed at 60 ms btw. Is it because my laptop or internet isn't fast enough or what
