Swagbucks Hulu Promo?

On Swagbucks there's a featured way to earn 3K SB by signing up for Hulu for $6 for a month and I'm wondering if I would be able to use a $5 Hulu giftcard towards getting that one done. Would that work / have any of you tried it that way?
