Microworkers requiring I.D proof before i can withdraw...

I emailed microworkers saying it has been 2 months and i havn't recieved my PIN through the post. They replied saying the PIN was never sent out and that i need to provide I.D via Passport, Driving license, or national number. Has anyone given this I.D to them? I have been with many websites and never been asked to give this information, and when i am asked it is right at the beginning when registering, instead of waiting till i am ready to withdraw and telling me i am not eligible yet. Feedback please :)
