Is Content Mill Writing Worth it?

I'm fairly new to r/beermoney, but I think the work ya'll do is amazing! I was wondering if anyone had experience with "content mill" freelance writing sites, like Textbroker and iWriter. Are the work and pay worth it? How hard is it to get work as a writer? I'm a fairly good writer, and I currently write for a college-blogging content mill, but I would like to expand and make a bit more money. Even though I write for blogs and creatively write on the side, I don't have any degrees in English or writing, so I'm not really a professional. Thanks for any information and advice!
