I have a conspiracy theory about Lemoney's current promotion

I looked at the terms and it says that if Lemoney fails to reach the 10,000 new referral goal no one gets a prize.

The contest is currently two weeks in and has.... 25 new referrals.

I think they chose a pie-in-the-sky number, well aware they will not reach it. This way they don't have to pay anyone, and also members to refer new members in bulk. It's a win-win for them. Free publicity outsourced to the members.
