how you as a developer Organize your scripts and other files

in last month i make many user.js script and blogger template and bots which make my desktop have a lot of needed files
so i have maked and folder for them each folder named by his script

it was a lot helpful because i can't use GitHub with slow internet
how do you guys do that on your own?
