Buying Stocks

I want to throw a chuck of my beer money savings into a single stock (risky, I know) but I am finding it a little overwhelming trying to find where to buy it from... I have found a couple offers from the Robinhood app, but the fees aren't super clear. I'm not looking to turn this into a long term investment relationship. I'd prefer to transfer to/from PayPal directly. Anyone had any luck with this?
