[US, UK, CA] Branded Surveys — Surveys & Daily Polls — Earn Bonus Points on Surveys for Being Active

Branded Surveys | Non-ref

Like the name implies, Branded Surveys is a survey website. This site uses survey routers rather than providing their own surveys, so it will have all the same problems that other sites using survey routers experience. Many of the surveys will toss you a few points when you get disqualified, and completing profile questions after being DQ'd seems to guarantee this reward. They also have a nice daily poll which gives 5 points ($0.05).

The Basics

Minimum Cashout $10
Cashout Options PayPal, bank transfer, virtual visa, tons of gift cards, and donations.
Minimum Age 13 with parental consent.
Countries United States, United Kingdom, Canada
Sign up requirement Email, password, gender, country. I was also asked for first and last name, time zone, birth date, and zip code at some point. A non-voip phone number is required when selecting your cashout reward.
Referral Program The referring user gets 50 points ($0.50) when the referred users earns a silver badge for the first time. To earn the silver badge, the user must earn 600 points in a calendar month.
Point Expiration Points do not expire as far as I can tell.
Tax Info USA residents will be required to complete a W9 tax form once they reach $600. Other countries may be subject to their own tax regulations.

Loyalty Program

Branded Surveys offers bonus points for users who are active on the site. They offer three tiers of rewards which are dependent on the number of points you earn in a calendar month. Your tier lasts for the current month and the following month, and it determines how many additional points you earn when you complete the required number of surveys within a 7 day period.

The tiers

Bronze (0-599 pts) Silver (600-2099 pts) Gold (2100+ pts)
12 surveys in 7 days 5% 10% 15%
20 surveys in 7 days 7% 12% 17%
30 surveys in 7 days 9% 14% 19%

For example: if you earn 700 points in the month and you completed 25 surveys in 7 days, you will get 12% more on approved points.

Polls and profile survey points do not count.

Pros

  • You get 5 points ($0.05) for the daily poll.

  • Compared to other sites, I'm shown quite a few surveys that pay somewhat decently.

  • You sometimes get a couple points for being disqualified. It's not guaranteed, but it's pretty frequent.

  • You can earn bonus points for ranking on the daily (50 pts for the top 49 people), weekly (200 pts for the top 50 people) and monthly (300 pts for the top 20) leadership boards. There is also one random winner for each group that earns points. (50 pts for daily, 500 pts for weekly, 1000 pts for monthly)

Cons

  • They use survey routers like Cint, samplicious, etc, which means disqualifications are going to be frequent, and there are all the usual problems with survey routers.

  • You get SPAMMED with emails. Make sure to turn these off or at least lower the frequency. My account was defaulted to 12 emails at 7PM, and you can bet that I got all 12...

  • Gift cards cannot be sent to AOL emails.

Overall opinion

This site seems good for users who like to be rewarded for being active and loyal to a site. The bonuses are definitely nice, especially if you can keep in the Gold range. Their Survey Spotlight section frequently has decent paying surveys ($6+/hour) for me, but YMMV. However, like every other site that uses survey routers, disqualifications are going to be a problem. Even if I don't do the surveys, I plan to stick around for that free nickle each day.
